Once Covid hit, we were left without a home in which to play and record ~ this was The Only Cafe, Toronto. We were playing our monthly residency there, just passed our 107th... then nothing.

During the next few months, we had beer / band meetings in a local parking lot. Then one day, our collective mind figured Hey, we're not going to be able to record indoors any time soon... so why don't we take it outside?! Do an unplugged jam. We love a challenge, and at that time, we had nothing to lose.
We decided the Pocket Dog Park would be the perfect spot for us; it's a five minute walk from The Only, quiet and secluded.

So what you're about to hear is three of us, the core, Avery Strok, James Bailey, and Richard Vainio, unplugged / battery powered for the first time; this was our test run.
There are edits, but no overdubs ~ there's some subtle trickery (thanks to the Awesomeator)... but for the most part, what you hear is how it was.
We're now into Unleashed season two, but this blissed-out little artefact is how it all began.
